Everyone has a story, even if they don’t realize it. It always amazes me what you can discover if you just ask questions, then sit back and listen. The most important elements to telling a story are strategic: understanding what you want to communicate; what impact you want to achieve and what audience you are targeting.

Here's my story. My name's Darby Fitzgerald. I'm currently a senior at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I will graduate in May 2015 with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. After graduation, I want to get a job in the communications/marketing field telling stories.

Aside from school, I love learning new languages. I've picked up some Spanish and Portuguese from my time at ASU. I also love television and spoiler alerts.
