Hello, I’m Daren McKelvey and the owner/founder of R1 Labs. We advise companies on navigating the tech and innovation ecosystem to cut through the noise and maximize engagement with founders, investors, corporates, new customers, potential partners, talent and more. We have a global network, which gives us an edge in opening doors and network acceleration.
Currently working with IoT connectivity and security startup Nodle.io, non-profit foundation Coalition Network (http://coalitionnetwork.org), and global, privacy-by-design contact tracing app, Coalition App as Director of Communications.
I recently was Expert-In-Residence (EIR) at dLab (http://dLab.vc), SOSV’s blockchain accelerator, and now mentor there. And currently Advise startups Showroom (http://showroom.me) and Palapod (http://palapod.com).
I have over 13 years experience in business development, 9 years in event strategy, partnerships and sponsorships, and have been involved in more than 80 events globally. • A week-long Silicon Valley Innovation Immersion Program for a delegation of Brazilian corporate executives, which includes education, inspiration and access to top VCs, influential thinkers, corporate innovation leaders, founders, university professors, Innovation labs, and experts. The next program is in NYC late October and will focus on culture, hiring, workplace trends, talent retention.
