Darina Rogovenko

Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. From early childhood was interested in traveling and discovering the unknown. Always had a huge passion for fashion, but unfortunately had to choose other patterns in life.

Graduated with Masters Degree in International Business in Kiev, Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in 2003 and moved to the Netherlands, hoping to develop and embrace my creative side. Did another Masters in Tourism Destination Management in NHTV, Breda. During this study had a great opportunity to do 3-month long field work in Australia, Vietnam and Bali, which confirmed once again that I am comfortable being in the new far away places.

Even though my major was Tourism, I managed to involve Fashion in my graduation thesi, where I proved that Antwerp can use Fashion as one of the success factors in order to increase brand identity. Thesis has been published into a book afterwards and I have been invited to give a lecture on the topic of my thesis in my former University.

After the graduation and until today i am working in Amsterdam in the event company Incentive Europe. During the past 5 years I gained great experience in organisation of various events. I established the Russian Department within the company and made Incentive Europe very well-known on the Russian MICE market.

I have been to many places and tried several careers, but Fashion is still calling my name and stays my greatest passion and career dream, which I am hoping to realize in the nearest future.
