Darin Pastor

Currently a Managing Director at the Prudential Insurance Company of America, Darin Pastor has served in the insurance and financial services sectors for more than 15 years. He has held positions at such institutions as Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company, JPMorgan Chase & Co, and Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo). Additionally, Darin Pastor also owned and operated his own company, American Mortgage Affiliates, for nearly a decade. Focusing on insurance, mutual funds, and mortgage sales, he established seven offices throughout the state of New York. Darin Pastor also amassed an array of accomplishments during his tenure at Chase Investment Services Corp., a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Earning the second overall performance rank in 2009, he initially served as a Vice President and Investment Manager before accepting a promotion to Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Manager.
Prior to taking this career path, Darin Pastor fulfilled the role of Division Manager at Pepsi-Cola Buffalo Bottling Corp. In this position, he worked in Pepsi-Cola Buffalo's beverage marketing and distribution departments. He also held responsibility for Pepsi's sales representatives, directing a staff of 45 individuals. He has strong ties to Pepsi-Cola Buffalo, as his grandfather founded the branch in the 1940s. Darin Pastor served the Pepsi-Cola Buffalo Bottling Corp. until 1996, when he and his father sold their stakes in the company. An alumnus of Drexel University in Pennsylvania and the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, Mr. Pastor earned a Master of Business Administration. Furthermore, he has taken a number of courses through Wharton Programs for Working Professionals, part of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. A unique form of post-baccalaureate education, Wharton Programs for Working Professionals offers a series of formal business courses to adult students. An active Wharton Fellow, Darin Pastor has studied strategic persuasion, mergers and acquisitions, and professional development, earning a Wharton Certificate in each discipline.
