In 2008 Dario Russo won the price for the 'Opera Workshop Junior' of the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genova. In the same year he was select as a guest member of the Opera Studio Nederland of Amsterdam. In 2013 Dario Russo sang as Demetrio in Demetrio e Polibio at the Teatro San Carlo of Naples, as Commendatore in Don Giovanni for Opera Basel and at the Teatro of the Opera of Rome in Samson et Dalila as the Vieillard hebreu directed from La Fura dels Baus and he took part to Les Vepres Siciliennes as Sire of Bethune for the ABAO (Bilbao). In 2011 Dario Russo took part to the productions of Vespri siciliani (Sire di Bethune) and Traviata (Dottor Grenvil) at the Teatro Regio of Torino, as well to the Lucia di Lammermoor (Raimondo) at the Teatro Verdi of Trieste and debuted in Un ballo in maschera (Tom) at the Sferisterio Opera Festival of Macerata. In September same year he debuted at the Teatro Donizetti of Bergamo in Gemma di Vergy (Rolando). In October and November Dario Russo sang the role of Oroveso in Norma at the Teatro Comunale of Sassari and in Gozo at the Teatro Astra, while in December sang the role Zuniga in Carmen at the Royal Opera House of Muscat. In February 2010 Dario Russo played the role of Wagner in Faust of Gounod and sang the role of Wächter der Druiden in Die erste Walpurgisnacht at the Teatro Massimo V. Bellini of Catania, furthermore he took part to the Traviata (Dottor Grenvil) floated by the MGF. In October Dario Russo debuted in Vespri Siciliani as Bethune for the Festival Verdi at the Teatro Regio of Parma. In November 2010 Dario Russo sang the role of Zio Bonzo in Madama Butterfly for the Fondazione Spontini- Pergolesi of Jesi.
