Darius Schwarz

Darius Schwarz of Coupeville passed away in his sleep on March 6, 2018 at his home. He was 36 years old.

Darius was born in Pomona, California July 28, 1981, to Otto and Kate Schwarz. He attended Maple Elementary and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1999. He attended The Ohio State University, graduating cum laude in 2004 and did post-graduate work in Public Relations at the University of Washington. He lived in Portland and Seattle, where he worked for the Washington State Attorney General’s Office as a Media Intern. Darius eventually went out on his own as a freelance marketing and public relations consultant, helping local small businesses and non-profits in marketing, promotions and social media. He is survived by his parents, Kate and Otto Schwarz of Coupeville and his sister Alexis Caballero (Rene) and grandmother Joan Pastrick, both of California.
