Theatre Career

Darko's theatre career began in 2011 and includes a variety of roles in both classical and contemporary productions. He has portrayed notable characters such as Guildenstern in “Hamlet” directed by Declan Donnellan, various characters in political performance “O scrisoare pierdută” directed by Cătălin Vieru, Lysander in "Drunken Lords" directed by him and Richard III in "Terrible night" - his bachelor degree show - where he was also the assistant director next to Haricleea Nicolau. His performances have been featured in productions by the Marin Sorescu National Theatre and the International Shakespeare Festival in Craiova.

As a director, Darko has been involved in several productions at Ienou Hub, where he serves as the Artistic Director. His directorial works include "Legături de sânge", “Situația” and "Blue Dress."

Film and Commercial Work

Darko has also made a mark in the film industry. He has collaborated with Mitra Film Production, La Strada Film Studios, Reverb44 on various projects, including documentaries and commercials for major brands like Petrom, Nescafe, and Heineken. He also can be seen in the short movie “Pottery Ring” playing “Oswald” a knight from fifteenth century.

Musical and Voice Acting

At the Romanian Opera in Craiova, Darko starred in the musical adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz" as the Scarecrow. Additionally, his voice acting credentials include roles in productions like "Ileana" and "Făt-Frumos din Lacrimă" at Radio Romania.

Additional Roles

Darko has diversified his career with roles as a DJ, entertainer, and event organizer. He has managed and performed at various festivals, including the International Shakespeare Festival and private events across Romania.
