Darlene L. Hart affectionately known as Lady D is a Preacher, Teacher, Entrepreneur, and a personal cheerleader to many. She is the visionary for the Behind the Makeup Project, a mission for the body of Christ to remove their mask and live authentically as God created them. Under this movement Lady D along with 7 women in ministry released their first book Behind the Makeup, a collaboration project. In conjunction with her book collaboration Lady D has created the BTM Collection her signature cosmetic line. Her solo book 6 Months to Life, is a 183-day guide to releasing the past and moving forward into the life you were meant to live. 6 Months to Life is a daily inspirational activity book created to encourage people from all walks of life. Lady D has also completed another life goal to launch a foundation named Ensuring The Future, an organization geared to empowering families that are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.

Lady D is a trained, licensed and ordained Elder. God has ordained Lady D to be a servant and Women’s Pastor for Women of the Word Ministry. She is an example of endurance and strength and believes in the power of prayer. Lady D has surrendered her life to God and the leading of the Holy Spirit has accepted her call to stand alongside her husband and serve as Pastor and First Lady of the Christian Tabernacle Church of Godlocated in Washington, DC.

Lady D is married to Pastor Kevin T. Hart Sr. and together the Lord has blessed them with five amazing and gifted children Kierra, Khiyana, Kailynn, Kevin Jr. and Kaleb. Lady D believes that every family has the ability to thrive if they keep their faith in God and a prayer on their lips. Lady D is always striving to be an example of God before all mankind and echo Him throughout the earth. It is her desire to see men and women live out their dreams and walk in their purpose.

Lady D believes she can do all things through Christ who gives her strength and she is committed to stand on the word of God despite the obstacles that rise up against her. To her amazement God strategically repositioned her life and she now declares to all who will listen that “You never know what God is up to, but it’s all for your good!”
