Born into a poor coal mining family, Darrell has developed, through a combination of life experiences and personal study, a vast personal resource of what can only be described as ineffectual tidbits of information. This wonderful information can be very useful at parties, on Jeopardy, or in situations where you wish to be regarded as intelligent, but sadly has little use in everyday life.

He is a father, a writer, a fitness advocate, a veteran, and a husband, as well as many other things that are not appropriate to share publicly.
