Darren Kerr is Associate Professor of Sexual Cultures and Head of the Bath School of Art, Film and Media at Bath Spa University, UK. He is co-editor of Hard to Swallow: Hard-core Pornography on Screen (2012), Tainted Love: Screening Sexual Perversions (2017) and is a member of the editorial board for Routledge’s Porn Studies journal.

His research interests and publications focus on sex on screen, horror and literary adaptation. He is also the co-director of screeningsex.com and editor of the Screening Sex book series for E.U.P. Darren is co-convenor of the Screening Sex scholarly interest group for the British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies.
