Darren Williams is a Senior Compliance Manager with 10+ years’ experience partnering with commercial and Government organisations to ensure compliance in highly regulated sectors, he has applied a tailored and detail-oriented approach to work that demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of the complex interplay between regulatory compliance and business success. Combining business-centric hospitality with an early career in the NSW Police Force and with the NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority, he possesses expertise across a broad range of compliance verticals including AML/CTF, Liquor & Gaming, Security, WHS and environmental management. Darren has completed formal training including a Graduate Diploma in Compliance and an Associate Diploma in Policing.

Darren has developed bespoke training programs and lead reviews along with investigations across multiple businesses to shape compliance frameworks in high risk environments, supporting and influencing commercial decisions to safeguard current and future state success. He has managed businesses liquor and gaming licensing requirements in line with regulations and legislative changes. He has developed cash management standards and security procedures and worked on building designs to improve safety, resulting in a significant reduction in thefts and security breaches.

Darren has analysed business requirements to shape the design and implementation of safety and compliance frameworks that mitigate risk and drive business improvements.
