Darren Coughlan

I was born on the 12/04/1985 and since then till now life has been a bit of a struggle due to the fact i was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, this is an illness that effects the lungs, heart and stomach and the slightest cold would cause a chest infection due to the fact my imune system is non-existant but antibiotics help me fight infections.

I have in the ToPaz four courts preformed a maintenance role and I also have experience working a busy pub. I have always had an interest in computers and have signed up for different IT courses in the past. Currently I am studying PC Maintenance and Technical Support at Senior College Dun Laoghaire which will hopefully give me the following skills:

  1. Building and Repairing PCs
  2. Understanding how Computers work
  3. Building and maintaining Web-sites
  4. Building and maintaining Data-Bases
  5. Learning to communicate with people
  6. Hope to have the A+ Examination papers

I am lucky to have amazing close friends and family as anyone who has ever been sick knows how important these people are and this is why i like to keep myself busy I enjoy motor cycle riding, music and travel and would like to move to a warmer climate on completion of my studies as this would also benefit my health.
