I work @ Zynga as a Senior Director, Engineering

My current assignment is running COBRA, a strike team working on publishing and game launch efforts.

Previously I was COO of Poker (1.5 years) and Farmville (1 year), where I built the engineering, project mangement, and QA orgs. The Poker org grew 4x (to 48 people) during my tenure and Farmville grew 3x (to 90 people). Poker scaled from 80k DAU to 5MM DAU and Farmville peaked at 30MM DAU.

While on Poker I introduced the org pattern of matrixed pods to Zynga, which has been adopted by every other department since it proved to be highly efficient way to handle the cadence Zynga demands. For this I was given the Zynga Spirit Award for Q1 2010, the highest award available.

I have also helped build the Engineering QA group, the original Zynga.com team, and have consulted on operational efficiency with Cityville, Cafe World, Treasure Island, Farmville, Hidden Chronicles, Zynga China, and others.
