Darren Grunberg

Involved in equity trading for more than 15 years in New York City, Darren Grunberg has worked as a trader for T3 since 2007. At this firm, he is responsible for trading his proprietary book, and has full autonomy over decision-making involving the portfolio. Darren Grunberg also creates trading strategies, deals with risk management, and does his own research.

Prior to this position, Darren Grunberg worked as an equity trader for Carlin Financial Group. He also was a trader for Worldco, LLC, and spent three years in a similar capacity at On Site Trading. While there, he served as a mentor to all the new traders and won Trader of the Year honors from 1998 through 2001.

Darren Grunberg earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Buffalo. After graduation, he began working as a senior analyst in the financial derivatives division of Fuji Capital Markets. He focused on back-office operations, reconciliations and portfolio management as well as worked on a team that acted as a liaison between the trading desk and risk management.
