I come from a building background but unfortunately the building boom came to an end and the company I worked for went into liquidation I saw this then as an opportunity to train in an area which I love which is computers. I started my training on a basic PC maintenance course at FAS Loughlinstown which was one evening a week, when that was finished I started an IT & Customer care course at Shanganagh Park House, Shankill, Co.Dublin with the main modules being Word (FETAC LEVL 5), Access and Excel (FETAC level 4) all passed with distinction. I am currently doing PC maintenance & technical support at Senior College, Dun Laoghaire with my main aim is to pass the CompTIA A+ exam in 2013 and also there are eight FETAC modules which are Hardware Essentials, Systems Software, Network Essentials, Web Authoring, Database Methods, Business Computing, Communications and Work Experience. I am looking for an entry level IT position and am available for work.
