IT professional for over 20 years working for a hospital system in San Diego, converting legacy system data to Epic, practice data to Epic for Community Connect, and dabbling in some interfaces & FTP work in Lyniate CorePoint and GlobalSCAPE respectively.
Previous work includes working for a prominent Bay Area hospital system & Pediatric hospital, developing & supporting HL7 interfaces in Cloverleaf between Epic and ancillary systems.
Before that, a large international mining company had me building and supporting .NET applications, PL/SQL interfaces & Oracle databases to help improve iron ore operations. My experience extents to working with and supporting OSHA & HR systems. I also have experience with data historians like PI and Infoplus.21, administering these historians, setting up tags and extracting tag data to Oracle systems.
Motorsports are a passion. Having been a founding member and treasurer of the MR2 Club of Western Australia, I participated in and marshalled for many intra- and interclub motorkhanas. Being a fuel park marshal for the Forest Rally of Western Ausralia was a highlight as were rides with rally drivers Rick Bates and Tolley Challis. My love for motorsport even translated into a position as a motorcycle warranty administrator liasing with Harley-Davidson & Ducati for a time.
