Hi.. I'm Darmiana Ishmael Abdulla born on October 11, 1990 in Banaran, Sapa-Sapa, Tawi-Tawi, Philippines. According to my grandmother, my name was derived from the names of my great grandmothers - Daliyah and Miana. Isn't it interesting? LOL. ^_^

I am a graduate of BS Computer Science, and unfortunately, It's been a while since I last designed a software. Oh God! How I miss programming! But hopefully, I will be able to get back to that in the near future.

Currently, I'm studying Medicine at Mindanao State University College of Medicine in Iligan City, Philippines. Oh yes, I decided to proceed a medical career despite my undergrad course.

All my friends actually wondered why. Well, who wouldn't? I could have had continue and grab the opportunities coming my way as a Computer Programmer, but here I am - studying medicine. It was a tough decision - leaving your interest to fulfill your parents' wish. I never wanted to disappoint them. It's not that I don't wanna be a medical doctor. It's that feeling that you are to jump into the pool knowing that you don't know how to swim and not knowing how deep the pool is. You know? I would love to hear some common features of Computer Science and Medicine. I hope it has.

I have gone thru many ups and downs, and thank God I was able to manage them (wittily, i think ^_^) and learned from them as well. I believe that I still have so much to face, and I may or may not achieve all of which I desire but what's important is, at the end of the day, I'll manage to smile and be happy with the ones I love the most.
