Darric Boyd

Darric Boyd balances his work as a Baltimore-based wealth management advisor with two independent ventures that serve local children and residents. A partner in Great Education, LLC, he maintains involvement with a preschool operation in northwestern Baltimore that serves 35 students, many from inner city neighborhoods. Moreover, Darric Boyd owns Fallstaff Holdings, LLC, an enterprise that renovates and sells distressed homes to first-time homebuyers.

Professionally, Darric Boyd has spent nearly 20 years in the financial services field. Based in Merrill Lynch's Baltimore office since 2009, he performs as a Senior Vice President. A certified financial planner, he concentrates on cradle-to-grave wealth management and investment solutions for a multitude of clients, including business owners, nonprofit organizations, high-net-worth individuals, endowments, and churches and other religious institutions. As a testament to his performance, the company named him to its Chairman's Club, Circle of Excellence, and President's Club.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Darric Boyd acted as a Vice President with Smith Barney, also in Baltimore. During his four years there, he supplied financial planning services to charitable groups, wealthy individuals, municipalities, and company owners. Because of his performance, the firm inducted him into its President's Club.

An accredited asset management specialist, Darric Boyd holds the Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 licenses in addition to health and life insurance licenses. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Outside the office, Mr. Boyd maintains lifetime membership in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, remains involved with the National Association of Securities Professionals, and counts membership with the University of Baltimore Entrepreneurship Advisory Board among his former appointments.
