Bringing Back Authentic Quality & Craftsmanship at Porcelain Advertising LLC

About the Founder

Darrien Eouse is the founder of Porcelain Advertising, a company dedicated to preserving the craftsmanship and character of vintage American advertising. Raised around the antique advertising and auction industry, Darrien developed an early appreciation for the history, design, and collectability of classic porcelain signs and neon displays that once defined gas stations, dealerships, diners, and roadside businesses across the country.

With more than 15 years of experience as a licensed auctioneer (FL AU#4535) traveling the country conducting sales and offering expertise and guidance helping those seeking to buy, sell, or understand more about the process, upsides, and what their collection is worth AND how to avoid being taken advantage of.

Culminating a lifetime of experience buying, selling, collecting, and starting one of the first online auction houses to offer interactive live bidding paired with multiple cameras, quality lot listings, and a real auctioneer calling bids.

Our groundbreaking webcast auctions offer the opportunity to discuss explain and highlight the pieces being sold, but also captures the spirit and excitement that has made the auction sales process one of the most popular and oldest forms of trade in world history.

Selling Your Collection via Auction

A lifetime immersed in the collector community, he has handled significant collections of vintage advertising and memorabilia. His background provides firsthand insight into what collectors value—authentic materials, quality construction, and respect for the original designs that made these signs iconic.

Porcelain Advertising was created in response to a market increasingly filled with lightweight aluminum signs and low-quality reproductionsl. Instead of shortcuts, the company focuses on producing signage using traditional materials and methods, including kiln-fired porcelain enamel on heavy steel and real hand-blown glass neon.

The goal is simple:recreate the feel, durability, and visual impact of the signs that once hung outside service stations and storefronts throughout the mid-20th century.

Today, Darrien continues to work closely with collectors, designers, and businesses seeking distinctive statement pieces for garages, showrooms, restaurants, and commercial spaces. His work combines an appreciation for American advertising history with a commitment to craftsmanship, authenticity, and preserving the spirit of the originals with modern electrical components and 110V UL Listed Power Supplies offering a vintage sign with modern safety standards.

Working with real kiln-fired porcelain enamel and handblown glass bent by hand isn’t easy. Each has difficulties and flaws that needed to be addressed which is why we currently have an accepted and verified Patent Pending for Neon Porcelain Modular Can with USPTO.

Porcelain Advertising operates from Central Florida and serves customers throughout the United States.
