I work in the Portland, Oregon area. In my professional life, I've enjoyed multiple roles:

• Technical Marketing Engineer
• Corporate Applications Engineer
• Engineering Manager

I have worked in the Electronic Design and Automation industry for both large companies and small startups. I currently work in the Cable Industry developing software for large cable MSOs at Flashlight Engineering and Consulting as an Engineering Manager.

I have developed software and I've developed teams. I've worked with both local and remote teams. I've worked across cultures and across timezones. I've worked with very small teams and larger Engineering teams and cross-functional teams.

I am comfortable in front of Developers and Customers. I understand the balance between meeting the needs of the Development Team, the needs of the Company and the needs of the Customer.

I enjoy most working with interested and interesting folks who are engaged and challenged.

I take pride in my ability to communicate, whether writing or speaking, in large or small groups.

I like to get things done.
