I consider myself a practical tech junky, yes I know that sounds like and oxymoron, I like technology but I’m no fool. I did not jump when Apple released the iPhone, I waited (and waited, and waited) till the price was affordable and the major bugs were worked out. I do a lot of research about products (I’m CTO of a business research firm so that helps a bit), more than the average person, so I get asked a lot of questions from friends and family.
