Darryl Bothe
Small Business Owner and One Nation Candidate for Spence in South Australia in Adelaide, South Australia
I’m Darryl Bothe, and I’m proud to announce my candidacy for the House of Representatives in the upcoming Federal Election. Representing Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, I’m here for the people of Salisbury, Elizabeth, Gawler, and all the communities that make up the Electorate of Spence.
Committed to Community
Growing up in Northern Adelaide, this community shaped who I am. I attended Catholic school on Yorktown Road, Smithfield Plains High School, and completed my apprenticeship at Holdens. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the North’s challenges and its resilience.
I’ve served on school councils, business advisory boards, and as Deputy Chair of the Playford Alive Community Reference Group, working to improve lives in our area. I’m especially proud of building a junior inline hockey program that engaged hundreds of kids locally and in Port Lincoln, with players reaching the World Titles. These experiences have fueled my passion for creating opportunities for young people and families in our region.
Recognizing Spence’s potential, I developed a community action plan addressing affordable housing, local jobs, and community engagement—a practical blueprint for a brighter future.
Professional Experience
Starting as a Fitter and Machinist, I later transitioned to IT as a systems manager and ran a successful computer repair business in Smithfield and Davoren Park. Today, I’m the Managing Director of AquaterreX, specializing in Deep Seated Water solutions to combat water scarcity and support agriculture. My career has shown me the transformative power of innovation in solving problems and creating opportunities.
What I Stand For
As a former single dad of six and now a proud father and grandfather, I understand life’s challenges. I’m committed to:
- Fighting the rising cost of living.
- Bringing secure, well-paying jobs to the North.
- Addressing the housing crisis to make homeownership achievable again.
A Vision for the North
This election isn’t about politics—it’s about people. I’m here to listen, collaborate, and deliver results. The North deserves strong, local leadership and practical solutions that reflect our community’s needs.
I’m not just asking for your vote—I’m asking for your trust. Together, we can create a thriving, resilient Spence.
