Darryl Lynn Kauffman

Consultant, Business Coach, and Graduate Business Student in Las Vegas, Nevada

I’m Darryl Kauffman, a Las Vegas-based accountant, business consultant, business coach, entrepreneur, and lifelong student of business. I have spent more than four decades working with financial information, business operations, and the everyday decisions that keep organizations moving.

My career has given me the opportunity to see business from several perspectives. I began in public accounting before moving into corporate roles as a CFO, financial analyst, and controller. I later operated my own accounting practice and expanded my work into consulting and business coaching.

One thing I have learned over the years is that numbers rarely tell the entire story. I enjoy understanding what is happening behind the spreadsheet, asking questions, finding patterns, and helping make complicated information easier to understand. I am also a longtime Excel enthusiast and still enjoy finding new ways to use it.

Learning continues to be an important part of my life. After decades of practical business experience, I returned to the classroom to continue studying business. I also read regularly, particularly books that challenge the way I think about management, decision-making, and how businesses actually operate.

Outside of business, I have been playing guitar since I was 13 and also play bass. I am a SCUBA instructor and enjoy working on cars, woodworking, reading, and staying active.

After more than 40 years around business, I am still interested in learning something new, solving a difficult problem, and finding out why something works the way it does.
