It’s not every day you meet a developer who’s also been a front-line problem solver in a luxury condo tower. Before I became immersed in full-stack development and AI/ML, I worked as a concierge in downtown Canada — managing keys, calming complaints, navigating building emergencies, and becoming an unofficial therapist to dozens of residents.
At first glance, concierge work and web development seem worlds apart. But both are about systems, flow, and—most importantly—people. That job taught me the value of intuition, empathy, and troubleshooting on the fly — skills that I now bring into every project I develop. Whether I’m designing a clean user interface or debugging an elusive backend error, I approach it with the same mindset I had at the front desk: someone’s experience depends on how well I do this.
Now based at the UGA Health Center, I build digital tools that serve real people — students, staff, and providers — often in moments where time and clarity matter. I see tech as more than just code; it’s a bridge between people and solutions. That philosophy drives everything I do.
Outside of work and school, I’m a big believer in keeping life dynamic. Back in Canada, my nights were often filled with the sound of laughter and friendly chaos — my roommates and I diving into Call of Duty missions or competing in intense FIFA matches that often lasted until 2 a.m. Those gaming sessions weren’t just entertainment — they were our way of staying connected, de-stressing, and building memories as international students away from home.
Soccer also keeps me grounded in the real world — both as a player and a fan. I’m deeply interested in how technology intersects with policy and people, and I aim to be a developer who doesn’t just build fast, but builds thoughtfully.
From Canada to the U.S., and from concierge work to coding, every step of my journey has been about solving problems — and connecting people along the way.
