Daryl Dylan is the Managing Director of Caribou, a domestic and international multimodal logistics provider headquartered in Manchester, UK.

Dylan joined Caribou in June 2019. The business is the result of the mergers of multiple mail, parcel and packet specialist companies in the past 12 months. In his role at Caribou, which he took on in February 2020, he is responsible for overseeing the efficiency and happiness of a rapidly growing team of professionals.

Previously, he served as head of carriers and commercials for Caribou and in that role he led the negotiations, development and nurturing of carrier relationships for the company. He also oversaw conflict resolution with carriers and suppliers, created new international lanes of business and managed negotiations for company acquisitions.

Dylan began his career as a subcontractor for Yodel and FedEx. He subcontracted and was a warehouse manager for City Link before becoming operations manager for The Freight Company and then The Courier Company, both in London. In 2017, he worked for Amazon.

With a career focused on transportation logistics, Dylan refers to the industry as “one of the most beautiful to be a part of.” He relishes in his role in building a cohesive team and seeing it succeed, especially when seeing progress his colleagues never believed possible.
