When I was young, my father exposed me to listening to jazz, rock and fusion, in which I fell in love with. I first learned to play guitar when I was seven and continued to pursue it, which brings us to the now me, a 4th year BM Jazz student at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music.

I am currently a member of the UST Jazz Band and have already performed in different events with them throughout 2 years. Such events are corporate, in-school celebrations, and outside gigs. I also arranged some pieces for the jazz band. Outside of college I play for my video-game fusion band “Playtest”, and for the
Anime/J-pop band “Akatsuki".

Under the guidance of Sir Erskine Basilio and Sir Sixto Roxas, I passionately spend my time honing my skills, widening my vocabulary in jazz and its different styles. Woodshedding different standards and sharpening my sight-reading skills.
