I just live music and musical theatre. I'm a composer, musician, transcriber, author, brother, and friend. Welcome to my page. A gifted, accomplished, award-winning and highly sought after songwriter, director, music workshop facilitator, and musician. He holds a degree in Music and performs frequently with numerous jazz, Gospel, R&B;, and Hip-Hop artists. He has appeared on such shows B.E.T. on Jazz, Bobby Jones Gospel, and several Cable access programs. Daniel is a member of the Washington Area Musicians Association (W.A.M.A), the Washington Areas local musicians union, and a member of BMI. His musical theatre and conductors works include, musical director for “The Wiz,” at Fitzgerald Theatre, MD, and The National Urban Leagues Thursday Network production of the “The Wiz,” “Something To Shout About” written by Raquise Petree, Musical Director and conductor for “A Christmas Carol,” “West Side Story,” “Purlie Victorious,” “Chocolate Nutcracker,” “School House Rock;” songwriter and composer for “Let Me Fly,” composer and musical director for the commissioned work for the Smithsonian Institution’s Children’s Musical “Nat Love, The First Black Cowboy,” musical director for the National Smithsonian’s “Black Diamond” project, and “Going The Distance” and songwriter and musical director for “Wasn’t That A Mighty Day” featuring Allyson Williams, Composer for “Nefertiti 18th Dynasty,” Musical Director and Composer for “Roll On” featuring Melba Moore and The Winans, Musical director and conductor for Peter Pan, and Musical Director and composer for “A Joyful Noise, The Langston Hughes Story,” as well as a television and commercial jingle for “HomeGrown Creations.” Within the last year, he was the conductor and assistant musical director for Christmas in Washington” and performed alongside Gammy Award Winner Kelly Price and Grammy Producer Winner J. Moss. In addition, his most distinct honor is creating the words and music for the national “AID FOR AFRICA” commissioned by Beldina Auma, South Africas National representative, in conjunction with the United Nations and HBO to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of A.I.D.S. in Africa.
