Dat Nguyen

I was born in Vietnam. an orphan, but adopted at 4 days old by a friend of the family. The rest is history. Today I am a father of 2 girls, living in silicon valley. Success is relative... I have a lot of successes and things to be thankful for... I grew up in Portland, Oregon but moved to California in the early 80s... and went to High School in burlingame.... and Berkeley for college. My major was history, but I have a great interest in technology... esp. software engineering. I can program in Python, but my career has been in sales and marketing at various silicon valley start ups, but today I am focused at a start up - as a programmer.... prefer that career path as of today. I have many interests, but music and movies are by far my greatest passions. I play acoustic and electric guitar and watch movies religiously, always have a recommendation if you are interested! I live in mtn view, CA .... and have two daugters. Being a father has a special place for me.... its only recently that I've learned to be an exceptional DAD.... ask me about it and I will give you my take on parenting. Love to eat good food... can cook really well. I also have a passion for literature and history, so you will find me reading a lot of the time. If I could, I would prefer to be an art history teacher... maybe in the future I can focus on that career. For the time being, I pursue programming, sales and business development at a small start up ad agency called GOUGOU. and try my best to be a good dad! The later being the most important! Hopefully I am doing a good job!
