Daugthers is a collaborative based collective consisting of two choreographers, Andrea Ollarvide and Kiya Marie. Established in 2012 and based in New York City, they have performed in several emerging choreographic shows, galleries, as well as cabarets. Their work is built on a foundation of geometric exactitude, synchronicity, simplicity, and weightedness.
Ollarvide and Marie began their professional training together under the direction of Demetrius Klein where they developed their joint choreographic cognition with the Demetrius Klein Dance Company.
