I am an enthusiastic Trainer Assessor, Trainer and Tutor who has delivered over a thousand hours of accredited guided learning to hundreds of 16+ adult learners over the last several years. I have supported learners completing level 2 and 3 NVQ's within retail apprenticeships and Key Skills (now Functional Skills) as well as young and vulnerable adults with health and well-being barriers to learning upon the work programme.
As well as a Trainer Assessor, Trainer and Tutor I am an avid puzzle collector. I love all forms of mechanical puzzles, especially those made from rare exotic woods and am passionate about box-filling, tray and interlocking cube puzzles as long as they don't take too long.
The very first puzzle I was given was a Japanese wooden interlocking barrel puzzle, known as "Kumiki".
Several years ago I had the fortune of discovering the community of metagrobologists and enjoy meeting, reading, discovering and collecting puzzles from the world's best inventors, designers and craftsmen. This led me to creating my own site www.themetagrobologist.co.uk and quarterly full colour 138 page glossy magazine dedicated to the subject of metagrobology.
