Dave Prostko

As a Vice President for Daymon Interactions, Dave oversees operations at the company’s Elite Marketing Interactions division at Meijer in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has 30 years of retail experience, with cumulative of 24 years with Daymon Worldwide and Daymon Interactions. During his career with Daymon, Dave has managed a number of accounts including Jewel Foods, Affiliated Foods, Shurfine Central Cooperative, Bi – Lo Supermarkets, Haggen Supermarkets and Meijer. While managing the operations of Daymon’s business at Meijer, the first hyper-market operator in the U.S. with 185 store locations in five states, Dave was appointed to the position of Vice President. Dave was responsible for managing the development, procurement, merchandising and marketing of 126 brands in foods, general merchandise and apparel. As Group Vice President Food Merchandising, he represented $6.5 billion in company sales. He led a significant turn around effort in reducing net losses and provided a 33% contribution of total company net profits. Dave’s experience spans internationally as well. As Vice President Managing Director of International Growth Asia Pacific, he was responsible for existing business in Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan and future expansion throughout Asia and Australia. Dave attended Harper College in Palatine, Illinois and he holds certificates from Oregon State University and Michigan University. Hobbies include; Skiing, basketball, biking, home design and construction and is an active pilot.
