Dave Schneider

Dave Schneider leads the marketing practice of Apollo Global, an entrepreneurial joint venture between the world-leading higher education company Apollo Group, and private equity firm The Carlyle Group. As Vice President/Global Marketing, Dave is responsible for developing and managing the corporate brand, while consulting with their leading, local market business units in the UK, India, Chile, Mexico and the U.S. to define, build and deploy scalable, relevant, commercial practices and products that drive consistent and profitable network-wide growth. Prior to Apollo Global, Dave spent ~20 years in various marketing/advertising firms. Most recently, Dave led the client services practice of the highly acclaimed, Advertising Age A-list Agency, Tribal DDB, as Director of Client Services with engagement across a roster of Fortune 100 brands from McDonald's, Lowe's, State Farm, OfficeMax and AT&T.; Prior to his appointment to Tribal DDB, Dave held senior leadership roles at DDB Chicago on some of the office's most significant businesses, including Dell & State Farm. Previously, he held a variety of agency, account and media management positions at various highly regarded Minneapolis agencies. Dave's category experience runs the spectrum across B2B and B2C, including financial services, CPG, technology, retail, and household durables. Dave holds a BA from Luther College (Decorah, IA) with a double major in Economics & Business Management and has completed graduate course work in Business Philosophy, certified as an MBA-equivalent.
