Dave Barcos, born in Silicon Valley in 1964, has been at the forefront of digital innovation for decades. After co-founding Puma Laser Graphics in the 1980s, he moved to Portland, Oregon, where he spent 25 years as a freelance designer and creative director for major brands like Intel, Nike, and Microsoft.
Dave's career mirrors the tech industry's evolution, transitioning from print to digital design and eventually to UI/UX. In 2000, he co-founded My Shopping Community, a SaaS platform for the direct selling industry.
Passionate about startups, Dave immersed himself in Portland's tech scene, running 1 Million Cups meetings for three years. This led to his current role at Formos, a custom software development firm.
Today, Dave is building North Bank Innovations, a Washington state incubator in Southwest Washington. This incubator focuses on early-stage startups, providing vital education and resources to foster regional growth and establish the area as an entrepreneurial hub.
