They say you make your mind up about someone within the first 7 seconds.....oh you've gone....ok well er, I'm happily married and have 3 great children (21, 19, 16) - I guess most married people with kids say that, but...well its true.

I'm an occupational therapist (uh? I hear you say) - consequently my male friends mock me for being all touchy feely, which I guess by average male standards, I probably am, though I play football and don't do my fair share of the housework, so does that balance things up??

I like to create the illusion of being in control (we arent of course) - I'm a compulsive list writer and organiser, and feel uneasy around chaos.

Whilst I am generally more at the introvert end of the social spectrum (I find extreme extroverts hard work), humour is a really important part of my life and I am fascinated by what makes something funny and how we all find different things funny.....which reminds me - I'm also a bit of a deep thinker and love going beyond the superficial (I'm hopeless at small talk) and having a good old debate (my touchy feely side creeping through again I guess).

At the risk of introducing a conversation stopper....I'm a Christian, which means that I do try and live my life based on Christ's example, though I'm a pretty poor imitation, and certainly don't have all the answers.....probably far too heavy a note to end on....sorry
