Dave Hennessy

Hi, I'm @davehennessy. I'm currently a 21 year old Marketing Communications student at Columbia College Chicago. I'm graduating in May. I'm really excited about what the future holds.

In 2009, I saw Biz Stone (co-founder of Twitter) speak at Columbia College Chicago. He talked about how Twitter came to be and how the service and social media in general was changing the world. He ended up changing me.

Ever since that night, I've been obsessed with anything social, particularly pertaining to the Web and business, and I've probably spent more time thinking about social media and technology than I have eating or sleeping.

Aside from being a student, I'm the Marketing Assistant to the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department, a social media consultant, and a blogger. I spent my last two summers as a Marketing intern at SmashFly Technologies in Boston and Plum Tree Group in Chicago.
