I am a Radio Show Host, award-winning Journalist and Conflict Engagement Specialist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication (with an emphasis in broadcasting) from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK, earned a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and plan to pursue a PhD in the near future.

I am a qualified Texas Mediator (Under Section 154.052 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code) and have received extensive training in Mediation techniques, Generational Conflict, Dispute Resolution Systems Design for Organizations, Gender and Cultural Conflict, Organizational Ombuds Practices, Arbitration, Identifying Personal Conflict Styles, Negotiation, Online Dispute Resolution, Workplace Conflict, Employment Law, the Psychology of Conflict, Body Language and Non-Verbal Communication.

I am the founder of several niche Alternative Dispute Resolution consulting firms, including- Geek Mediation, Media Mediation, Willing 2 Mediate and Discreet Mediation.

I am also the founder of the Texoma Dispute Resolution Center- a non-profit Community Mediation Program that provides and promotes free or low-cost Mediation, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution services and training to residents living in the areas around Lake Texoma (North Texas and Southern Oklahoma).
