I'm a 25yr veteran designer, researcher and strategist. I help your problem space team create the stories that frame problems so that solutions strategically provide value for their customers in measurable ways.

Through my career I've been a designer of marketing sites, early online banks, B2B market places, Enterprise CMS, data mngt device management and programming, and cloud computing. I've done these for corporations like American Express, Mellon Bank, Sony, Motorola, Documentum, and Rackspace.

In my career I have also played a vital role in the founding of the Interaction Design Association and have held the title and roles of Vice President, global conference, Interaction, Co-chair, founding Chair of the Student Design Challenge, and founding Co-chair of the IxD Education Summit. I was also the Professor of Interaction Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design and a founding organizational leader of the Enterprise UX conference.

I am a globally recognized author, speaker, and workshop leader.

I am most recently the author of The Guide to UX Leadership, published by UXPin.
