I live in Lancaster Lancashire in the UK and I have worked in the IT industry for many years. I have fulfilled many roles from design and development to infrastructure design, management and company direction. I am currently the technical director for the longest trading local IT supplier to the local business sector in Lancaster. I develop using various technologies but I tend to stick to Microsoft technologies, SQL and Microsoft network services are my weapon of choice alongside VMWare for virtualisation. I have worked on projects for Airmiles, Marks and Spencer's, orange and t-mobile and currently Arla and various other multinationals. I'm a bit nerdy but a down to earth person also with a passion for engineering and often will be found under a bonnet of a Japanese import.
