Dave Lucas

Dave Lucas (born October 29) is an American broadcast journalist, TV presenter, news anchor, talk show host and internet personality.

Born and raised in Upstate New York on a diet of Monitor Radio, Dave Garroway and LIFE Magazine, Dave is best-known for the 1999 series of worldwide internet radio broadcasts beamed out from WROW am590 surrounding the Jon Benet Ramsey murder mystery. He has also been interviewed on BBC Radio 1 concerning his blog. Dave was among the first radio talk-show hosts in the USA to use bits of pop music as “bumpers” and he is credited with bringing Paul Vandenburgh and Dr. Joe Parisi to Albany-Schenectady-Troy airwaves. Dave has also worked for WGY and is the current Capital Region Bureau Chief at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, a non-commercial, listener supported public radio network. Apart from being a lover of all things radio, Dave is also a huge fan of fashion, arts, literature and pop culture.
