Dave Magrogan

A 38-year-old native of Brookhaven, PA, the mastermind behind Dave Magrogan Group (DMG), the parent company to four wildly successful restaurant concepts: Kildare’s Pubs, Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, Mas Mexicali Cantina, &Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar.

As Owner & CEO of DMG, Dave is recognized as a leader in the restaurant industry. An aggressive promoter, savvy publicist, sought after motivational speaker, &dynamic public speaker, he offers experience in concept creation, planning, marketing &business development. Dave first realized his passion for the restaurant industry while working as a dishwasher at the Lobster Pot in Media, PA. Dave worked various positions in the industry& now boasts more than 20 years of experience &has held positions in all levels of operations &management. While working in the restaurant industry, Dave received a Pre-Med degree from West Chester University &a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta. He built two of the largest family practices in Pennsylvania &treated over 800 patients a week. Although his chiropractic business was successful, Dave never lost his passion for the restaurant industry. In ‘03, he made a bold decision to pursue his dream &founded DMG. He sold his practices &began creating the authentic gastropub experience known today as Kildare’s. Dave opened his first location in West Chester, PA in May of 2003. His love for Ireland &authentic Irish cuisine led him to open additional pubs up &down the east coast - from Chapel Hill, NC to the University of Notre Dame. In October ‘06, Dave established his second concept, Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, in West Chester, PA. Expanding his Oyster House concept to Dover Downs Casino it quickly became an award-winning establishment. In March of ‘10, he opened Mas Mexicali Cantina- his rock &roll Mexican inspired bar. Most recently, he launched the fresh &organic Harvest Seasonal Grill &Wine Bar in Glen Mills, PA & won Best New Restaurant from Open Table. With a seasonally changing menu, Harvest offers customers locally-grown options under 500 calories including many vegetarian dishes. Dave has achieved many personal &professional accomplishments &accreditions, a list more common for someone twice his age. In his spare time, Dave lectures frequently on
