Having created visual effects for Hollywood film studios, commercial broadcast and many global fortune 500 companies and brands, Dave McGhie is an accomplished veteran of the visual effects industry with over two decades of fulltime senior compositing experience. Dave has successfully lead over 2000 commercial sessions to fruition (mostly client attended) as well as many feature films and episodic television. Dave currently provides cutting edge visual effects using state of the art Autodesk Flame premium and Nuke software's as his weapons of choice.

Dave started his career in 1992 as the Digital Revolution in visual effects was about to begin as a Junior Quantel "Harry artist" and has enjoyed the decades of challenges since forever learning, creating stunning visuals and pulling rescue missions at some of the Country's top commercial, post production and VFX houses. As a long time senior flame artist Dave was integral as one of the very first artists to integrate both Flame and Lustre software's together in session. Two years later this same setup was officially released becoming the de facto standard now known globally as "Flame premium". Dave while specializing in compositing ( 2d and stereoscopic ) continues to do everything from VFX supervision, matte painting and DI colour grading to effects shot design and CGI.
