Dave Nyczepir

Dave Nyczepir is a multimedia reporter currently living in Washington, D.C. He covers state and local government for Route Fifty.

Previously, he reported on everything from wildfires to presidential visits at The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif. As the staff writer at Campaigns & Elections magazine, he followed the political consulting industry during the 2012 election cycle -- attending both the RNC and DNC.

Prior to that, Dave covered Maryland's 2012 legislative session for the University of Maryland's news wire service, Capital News Service, as a state house reporter.

He received his Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland and holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the College of William & Mary.
