From a young age I've been very involved in sports, teams, and school activities. I was someone who got out often to play and learn. I also had the desire to stay in, and experience the world of electronics, computers, and video game culture (still a huge passion of mine).

After completeing high school I took a Business Administration - Marketing program at Niagara College. For whatever reason, the office-life and business world did not click with me as much as I originally imagined. I took a year and a half to work in retail and as a digital coordinator in the industrial industry.

One day when reading a couple of sports broadcaster's books (James Duthie and Dirk Hayhurst), it hit me. I found what I wanted to do and went for it. The style of writing the two authirs had, the entertaining stories made me want to be one of those writers and broadcasters. I have a passion and mind for sports and enjoy entertaining; broadcasting it is!

The Journalism course at Seneca College helped me grow as a writer and presenter. I had the opportunity to amass an amazing set of skills.

I took what I had learned and my passion for sports as I worked as an intern on Sportscentre for TSN in Toronto. While there I had an amazing experience writing scripts, colaborating with anchors and working in a great team of story editors to create one of North America's best sports shows on TV.
