Dave Rix

Dave has spent the last 20 years developing an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of technology areas. He specialises in large scale database design and performance tuning, and has an in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and various flavours of Linux including a variety of scripting languages. As an experienced web designer and developer, Dave has also built a number of websites ranging from simple brochure sites, to large data driven analytical web apps with an emphasis on usability and experience.

Always excited by new technology and techniques, Dave continues to drive himself forwards to expand his knowledge, continuously learning and experimenting in a range of topics from databases to web development.
