David Rosenheim
David Rosenheim brings a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship to the clean tech and new media sectors. In his roles at JamBase, first as CEO and now as Board Chairman, Rosenheim has driven the company’s mission to become the definitive source and destination for live music information and community. As Senior Consultant to Offsetters Clean Technologies, Rosenheim is developing international expansion opportunities for Canada’s largest carbon services firm. David began his career as a touring and recording musician, leading the critically acclaimed bands Hugh and The Weather Band. After experiencing first-hand the hardships of promoting independent music, in 1997 Rosenheim founded his first Internet music enterprise, Inkblotmagazine in order to create a barrier-free, online venue for music promotion. He went on to found Musicfans- a network of 120 of the largest artist fan sites. Rosenheim has also held positions as a strategy consultant for GOOD.is, Jeff Skoll’s Participant Productions (Syriana, An Inconvenient Truth) and CleanStar Energy (biofuels). He earned an MBA with distinction from Oxford University.
