Dave Savage

Los Angeles, California

Monsters have been a part of Dave Savage's life since childhood. Whether it was the imaginary Flop Monsters under his bed, Count Chocula in his cereal bowl or Sid & Marty Kroft's Sigmund and the Sea Monsters on TV, fun and creepy monsters were in his life to stay. At the age of 6, a plastic set of fangs and a Dracula cape made by his mother were favorite playthings. In the following years he was introduced to Channel 5's Friday Fright Night, Sci-Fi Saturday and Godzilla week. He would never be the same again.

Now, Dave keeps that spirit alive with SavageMonsters.com devoted to monsters, robots and other cartoon creatures. Savage Monsters Industries has also been hired by clients like American Greetings, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Hasbro, Nike, OralB, Red Bull and Topps for various creative projects. He's also created an iPhone application, original fonts, art for board games, playing cards, t-shirts, buttons, stickers, posters, trading cards, bowling balls, and drawn way too many paper bag puppets.
