Originally a native of Tampa, Florida, I moved to the Washington DC area in 2007 for a position as a Web developer with Tier Technologies in Reston, Virginia.
My background is primarily in IT, including systems analysis, technical writing, Network Administration and Internet development. I also have professional experience working in healthcare, government, legal and the non-profit sector.

My interest in social media began in 2010 when I started my job as a digital marketing social media manager at an auto dealership in Bethesda, Maryland. Since August of 2013, I have been working at The United Services Organization (USO.org) as a web content management system specialist.

I'm a fan of hockey and I like to try new and interesting beers from around the world. I consider myself somewhat of a 'TechnoGeek'. For those who know me would say that I have a unique sense of humor. A few things you may not know about me is I am photography enthusiast and a closet Pro-Wrestling fan.
