Dave Schutter

I live in Dublin with my wife Kim and three children. I've served as Senior Pastor at NPC since 2007. I love to explore God's word and seek to understand how the message of Jesus applies to every area of life. I grew up in Cleveland and was glad to return to the Buckeye State to receive the moral support every Cleveland Indians fan needs. During my free time I love to bicycle and perfect my grilling techniques!

I attended Wheaton College, graduated from Miami University and Covenant Seminary. Since 1997 I have served as a church planter, staff pastor and in Afghanistan as a US Army Chaplain. I'm completing a ThM in Historical Theology at Westminster Seminary's London Campus. My writing project is on two lost sermons of Jonathan Edwards. My research focus has been on the history of the doctrine of adoption from the Protestant Reformation onwards.
