Focused and pragmatic under pressure, I always deliver a high level of insight and creativity to the teams and the projects with which I work. I read trade press and keep up-to-date with developments in business strategy, guaranteeing that my work is proactive to change and opportunities. I’ve specialised in the defence, education and healthcare sectors, but I’ve also worked on religious and transport topics on an ad hoc basis. My input invariably incorporates a combination of research, copy writing, copy editing and proofreading. In my current role I maintain my passion for writing by contributing to UK and international schools eNewsletters, and writing news and blog articles for my company website (inc. their social media presence). I have a number of published articles and my first book, The History of Flight, was published in 2004. Not one to sit at home on the weekends, I enjoy going to the theatre, comedy shows, music venues and places of interest. In the autumn of 2011 I spent five weeks travelling around New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup, which gave me a fantastic opportunity to experience a different culture.
