David Atkins

Based in Columbia, Missouri, David Forrest Atkins is the CEO of Alexander Forrest Investments, LLC. He has served in this capacity since 1990, during which time he has oversaw the real estate development and management firm's expansion into 26 states. Under the guidance of David Atkins, Alexander Forrest Investments has developed, financed, and managed multi-family properties in Columbia, Missouri as well as in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana, among other states. Some of its signature projects include College Town Apartments, Siena Courtyard Apartments, and Hacienda Villa Apartments.

Mr. Atkins is well-versed in supply chain management and its application to the apartment complex industry. In addition to property development and management, he is a co-founder of Agents National Title Insurance, which launched in 2005, and was the first US-based company to issue title insurance policies online.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he has a passion for American-made classic cars and enjoys restoring vintage vehicles. He also enjoys handmade guitars and tending to his fruit and nut orchard.
